Abu Dhabi, 13 September 2015: Al Maryah Island is welcoming visitors for a double celebration this month, to mark the occasions of Eid Al Adha and Saudi National Day.
Abu Dhabi’s landmark business and lifestyle destination in the heart of the capital will keep the whole family entertained, with an extensive array of traditional festivities, performances, plus shopping and dining promotions for all to delight in. Events will take place on the first two days of Eid, expected to fall on 23rd and 24th September.
Visitors will be able to experience the Bedouin way of life at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi with a visit to the Bedouin tent to enjoy age-old traditions, while feasting on authentic Arabic dates and coffee.
Other activities taking place at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, will include Falcon displays will let visitors get up-close to the region’s prized creatures, which were long used by the Bedouin as a hunting aid. Guests can also watch amazing sand artists create wonderful bottle designs, relish in the thousand year-old tradition and sheer beauty of Middle Eastern Henna art, with its intricate designs, and enjoy the region’s strong tradition of music and dance, with fascinating displays of folk dances.
Children will also be able to celebrate with Iftah Ya Simsim and join a festive parade alongside their favorite Muppets No’man, Shams, Gargur, and Elmo, for some exciting edutainment, as well as fun arts and crafts activities. Little ones will also be inspired to express their musicality through music and play at the newly opened Caboodle, an indoor entertainment haven at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island.
