Bidaya welcomed representatives from companies across the GCC to its Iftah Ya Simsim studio for a trade marketing workshop Jan. 21. The trade licensing show was done at the studios of twofour54 in Abu Dhabi and participants were able to watch and be part of the production of Season 3 of Iftah Ya Simsim which will be ready for broadcast in the first quarter of 2019.”
The event introduced a line of potential Simsim products, including toys, games, books and clothes for children and adults.
Managing Director Dr. Cairo Arafat spoke to the guests on the importance of the show’s outreach in the Middle East and in connecting with the region’s youth off the screen.
“Playing is the key way children learn best,” said Dr. Cairo. “Creating safe, dynamic and educationally tested and approved toys and games allows children to learn in a meaningful way.”
The products are part of the show’s larger mission to foster child development in homes and schools across the region.
